E.P.I.C was set up in 2019 for the benefit of the local community to empower minority discriminated groups of society in areas such as Employment, Training and the property sector.
The organisation is formed and founded by Najma Begum who holds over 28 years of social work, business and community work experience.
The desire to run such services were driven by Najma's own experience of many challenges to employment and services faced by herself and others in seeking a decent work life balance.
The work of Empowering, Promoting, Inspiring others includes holding workshops; and one to one coaching. It will so involve outreach, advice and guidance sessions in the West Midlands area. Depending on need and demand we could cover other areas if resources allow as well as other methods of contact including telephone & video calling.
Najma also has a keen passion for promoting women into property sector careers and helping and mentoring them, from homelessness to being accommodated, home owners or working in the property industry. She also has an interest in promoting and encouraging women into construction roles due to the low numbers of women who are currently taking up this career choice.
Najma is an active campaigner of equality & diversity , promoting corporate social responsibility, including the 50:50 women in Parliament initiative of all sectors of work force for women to be engaged from grassroots to CEO level jobs. She is an Ambassador to the Inclusive Leadership Programme with the current West Midlands Combined Authority founded by Metro Mayor Andy Street.
Najma holds various qualifications including NLP coaching , time line therapy, hypnotherapy practitioner, post grad in (CMS), Cert in Management and is also a registered Social Work Practitioner working as an Independent Social Worker. She is also a mentor for students at Solihull College, for 18-25 year olds for 1 Million Mentors also supported by the West Midlands Mayor.
